We finally go to centrelink registering our information there as a job seeker. We get a centerlink’s reference number and another number for the job network card. The staff at centerlink are very helpful but seem to be not that efficient. The self-service facilities are not enough. Then in the afternoon we go to the AMES upon the appointment. We meet a shanghai woman who can speak fluent English and Mandarin. She is very nice, enters our information onto the network and directs us how to use the self-service facilities. After the dinner dabi and I go to the police station to do the certification. The policewoman is very nice too. Dabi is quite nervous about talking to a police in English. But he makes it. Coming out of the police station we go along the white horse road and find another world of Chinese foods. The suburb is much more than what we saw over the last few days. We find the 109 tram and take the public toilet with very modern facilities.
